I started working at ibi systems in August 2021.
What did you do before that?
I was also working as a software developer before that, but in the computer games industry. I did my bachelor’s degree in media informatics at the University of Regensburg.
What does your day-to-day work look like?
We work loosely according to the Scrum framework, so every day starts with a short daily meeting to discuss the current tasks. After that, new features are developed and bugs are fixed. Every 2 weeks, the next sprint is planned and the new tasks are estimated in the team.
What do you particularly like about ibi systems?
The flat hierarchy and friendly atmosphere
When did you join ibi systems?
After I finished my studies, I started at ibi systems in mid-October 2021.
What did you do before that?
Before that, I completed my Master’s degree in Business Informatics at the University of Regensburg and did several internships and student traineeships in different areas, such as at the Chair of Business Informatics, in Marketing and HR.
What does your day-to-day work look like?
Every morning, we start with our Jour Fix in which we coordinate our tasks. After that, there is no real “daily routine”. Based on customer feedback from our customer contact and internal suggestions, we always collect new ideas for improving the software, which we then plan as features for the next releases. For larger features, we create wireframes in the team, which we then pass on to development as a concept. After their development, the new features are of course also tested by us and presented to our customers. In addition, as part of product management, I can contribute to marketing and, for example, publish social media posts or overhaul the website.
What do you particularly like about ibi systems?
I particularly like the short coordination channels, the open and transparent communication and the possibility to work from home.

I started working at ibi systems in January 2022.
What did you do before that?
After working in the games industry, I worked as a 3D graphic designer for a start-up in Regensburg. Later, I worked in the same company in the areas of product and project management and as CTO.
What does your day-to-day work look like?
After a short daily meeting in which the topics of the day are roughly discussed, it’s time for the varied work. Besides concepts and wireframes for one of our software products, I take care of test management and QA processes and work on maintaining and improving our information security management system.
What do you particularly like about ibi systems?
The short and effective communication channels, the flat hierarchy and discussions always at eye level
