Dashboard Viewer
- Dashboards: In the left column all available dashboards for the current user can be selected and called up. The user has access to a dashboard in the following cases:

- The user created the dashboard himself.
- The dashboard has been enabled for the user role of the user.
- It is a “System dashboard” provided by ibi systems and the right to “Manage system dashboards” has been assigned to the user.
- Icons on the display:
- “Star icon”: In the upper area, the user sees all dashboards that have been marked as standard dashboard for one of his user roles.
- “ibi logo”: The logo on the left indicates that this dashboard is a system dashboard.
- “Lock icon”: The icon on the right indicates that the dashboard is currently only visible to the own user. So, it has not been released for other user roles yet.
- Edit in Designer: By clicking on the button, the currently selected dashboard can be opened in edit mode or a new dashboard can be created in the following dashboard menu. (Note: This functionality requires a separate user permission)
- Tabs: Different tabs can be created and called up. Individual tabs can be placed / displayed under each tab. The overarching filters are applied to all tabs.
- Clear all master filters: The previously defined filters for the dashboard will be reset.
- Reload data: The data records of the individual elements of the dashboard layout are reloaded or updated.
- Export to: The entire dashboard layout as well as the individual elements can be exported in various formats (.pdf, .png, .gif, .jpg, .xls, .xlsx).
- Multi-Select: Multiple selection allows you to select individual items (such as bars of a chart) and set them as filters for the entire dashboard layout.
- Maximize: This icon allows the individual elements (e.g., risk matrix) to be displayed in “full-screen mode” throughout the dashboard layout area.
Dashboard Designer
In the Dashboard Designer existing dashboards can be administrated, edited and deleted. New dashboards can also be created.
Dashboard Menu
Click on the “Hamburger” icon on the left to open the menu:
- With the button Open… all dashboard layouts made accessible to the user can be opened.
- Use the Save button to save the changes to the current dashboard layout. If the dashboard layout has not been changed or if it is a standard dashboard provided by ibi systems, this option is not available.
- With the Delete button you can delete the current dashboard.
- Using the button Data Sources you can adjust the underlying data sources of the dashboard layout. When adjusting the data sources, the dashboard layout is automatically saved.
- The Details button can be used to go to the Dashboard management.
- With the button Title the heading of the current dashboard can be adjusted.
- The Currency button allows you to specify the currency format of the dashboard layout.
- The Parameters button can be used to add or adjust general parameters for the dashboard layout.
- Using the button Color scheme the color values of each individual dashboard widget can be adjusted.
Dashboard Data Source
Adding a data source
The Data Sources button in the menu can be used to customize the underlying data sources of the dashboard layout.
Click Add to add a new data source.
When data sources are customized, the dashboard layout is automatically saved. Data sources can only be edited in non-system dashboards.
Edit or delete data source
Click the Edit pencil icon to edit the desired data source.
In the Title area you can change the name of the data source or select desired data sources from the tree structure, possibly change names and save them.
Click the Remove trash can icon to delete the selected data source.
Add calculated field
To add a calculated field, you must first open the Dashboard menu and select Data Source.
Then select the data source where you want to add the calculated field.
Then click Add Calculated Field in the upper right corner.
Add filter
To create a filter, you must first open the Dashboard menu and expand the parent data source.
Select the data source you want to filter. On the top right side you will find the Filter button. Click it to open the filter editor.
