I started working at ibi systems in August 2021.
What did you do before that?
I was also working as a software developer before that, but in the computer games industry. I did my bachelor’s degree in media informatics at the University of Regensburg.
What does your day-to-day work look like?
We work loosely according to the Scrum framework, so every day starts with a short daily meeting to discuss the current tasks. After that, new features are developed and bugs are fixed. Every 2 weeks, the next sprint is planned and the new tasks are estimated in the team.
What do you particularly like about ibi systems?
The flat hierarchy and friendly atmosphere
When did you join ibi systems?
After I finished my studies, I started at ibi systems in mid-October 2021.
What did you do before that?
Before that, I completed my Master’s degree in Business Informatics at the University of Regensburg and did several internships and student traineeships in different areas, such as at the Chair of Business Informatics, in Marketing and HR.
What does your day-to-day work look like?
Every morning, we start with our daily meeting, where we discuss our tasks. After that, there’s hardly a typical “day-to-day” routine, as my tasks are very diverse: they range from creating social media and blog posts to organizing and communicating about exhibitions, webinars, and our customer day, as well as implementing various advertising campaigns and continuously improving our marketing materials and website.
What do you particularly like about ibi systems?
I particularly like the short coordination channels, the open and transparent communication and the possibility to work from home.

I started working at ibi systems in January 2022.
What did you do before that?
After working in the games industry, I worked as a 3D graphic designer for a start-up in Regensburg. Later, I worked in the same company in the areas of product and project management and as CTO.
What does your day-to-day work look like?
After a short daily meeting in which the topics of the day are roughly discussed, it’s time for the varied work. Besides concepts and wireframes for one of our software products, I take care of test management and QA processes and work on maintaining and improving our information security management system.
What do you particularly like about ibi systems?
The short and effective communication channels, the flat hierarchy and discussions always at eye level
When did you join ibi systems?
I joined ibi systems in early 2025 and have been working as a Customer Success Manager ever since.
What did you do before that?
Even before I joined ibi systems, I had worked for several years as a software consultant for various software vendors, including in the energy sector and in the ERP field.
What does your day-to-day work look like?
My workday usually starts with a brief team meeting where we discuss current issues, customer inquiries, and the day’s most important tasks. After that, I focus on our customers and support them through regular meetings to help them successfully integrate the software into their daily workflows. Another important part of my work is analyzing the software usage to identify opportunities for optimizing our clients’ processes in collaboration with them. In doing so, I work closely with our development and product management team to ensure that client feedback is directly incorporated and the software is continuously improved.
What do you particularly like about ibi systems?
What I particularly appreciate about ibi systems is the open and r appreciative company culture, the flat hierarchies, communication on an equal footing, the strong team spirit, and the option to work remotely, which allows me to achieve a very good work-life balance.
